Immigrating to the U.S. in 1973 from Korea, Kay, after her years in the restaurant business, formed Yashi Fine Foods in 2008 to market her unique, wildly popular wing sauce. After successfully selling the wing sauce in the Arizona market for several years, Kay decided to re-brand the company and created Ahssa Foods in 2016. Using her extensive talents, Kay has expanded and created a full line of innovative Asian sauces and paste.
Ahssa sauce's original recipe, Korean Sweet & Tangy, is a mouth-watering concoction of sweet and spicy flavors, the perfect compliment to golden-fried chicken wings. Its singular taste is truly the first of its kind.
As a doting Korean mother and grandmother, Kay always admonishes her loved ones to "Eat More!" You won't need any more prompting from Kay once you've indulged in her amazing Ahssa Sauces!
Ahssa sauces are low in calories; no cholesterol, no high fructose corn syrup and no fat! All sauces are unique and outstanding, easy to use, healthy and very versatile. They can be used for grilling, baking, as a marinade, glaze or dipping sauce.
Ahssa is Korean slang for awesome. Using only healthy ingredients, blended in small batches to develop strong, but not overpowering flavor. Our sauces are honest, authentic and awesome!

Try mixing them with ranch or any creamy salad dressings for an added flavor to your salads. Blend them with sour cream for an outstanding dip for chips, vegetables or shrimp. Add a few tablespoons to baked beans or other slow cooked foods for an extraordinary taste experience.
Enliven spring rolls, tofu, chicken nuggets and other baked foods by serving the sauce as a heated dip. Infuse the flavors of Ahssa sauces with your cuisine by heating the sauce to a boil and stirring in the food to coat. Heat brings out the flavors of the sauces. Dramatically change the flavor and re-purpose leftovers with a coating of Ahssa sauce.
